Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in the South Wales & South West Roofing Training Group.

The current December 2011 issue of Roofing Training (available from the link below) gives details of free training to it members curtesey of a special grant from CITB-ConstructionSkills. More details on this free training for members can be obtained by clicking here. It is not too late to become a group member and qualify for the free training available. Microgeneration Certification Scheme - Planning on becoming MCS accredited?

You may be able to benefit from the free training to NFRC and Training Group members. This one day course on implementing a Document Management System will provide you with all you need to know about getting the right systems in place to achieve MCS accreditation. Training Group Membership-

Training Group membership offers a number of benefits, not least the opportunity for low cost training and NVQ assessments. The group is dedicated to providing quality, tailored, training and qualifications for its members. Training is also available to non-members, either roofers or non-roofers, because we believe that quality training and safety advice should be available to all that need it.

We can generally provide a choice of open and private training courses. Open courses are held periodically around the region as and when sufficient interest has been identified to make a course viable, these courses are open to everyone. If training is required for five or more persons then a private course maybe a more cost effective option, private courses can generally be held at any suitable location or venue to suit the customers needs.

Details of the training courses available through the training group are listed under the courses tab, we have listed them in several categories, e.g. General Health & Safety, ConstructionSkills and Skills training. Please scroll down the page until you find the course title you are looking for and click on [Reveal] to view the course summary. Please use the contact us tab on the top of the page or call 01395 233667 if you cannot find what you are looking for.

We currently have scheduled a number of low cost training days at our training centre at Woodbury Salterton, near Exeter. Two half day training courses are presented on the same day, if both courses are attended by the same person on that day then a discount for the fee is offered for the second course.
